- Release of Liability
By registering for an event/program at the East Coast Village, you understand that your participation may involve physical, emotional, and psychological activity, and with such an undertaking there is always a risk involved. You understand that the Ancestral Wisdom Bridge Foundation, dba East Coast Village, does not provide medical care and that you are therefore responsible for assessing the risk any activity poses to you, and choosing a safe course of action for yourself.
You hereby hold harmless and release and forever discharge the Ancestral Wisdom Bridge Foundation/East Coast Village, its officers, employees and agents, and any other people officially connected with this event or activity, from all claims, demands, and causes of action which you, your heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on your behalf or on behalf of your estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.
You understand that this, and all other Ancestral Wisdom Bridge Foundation/East Coast Village events, activities or programs are offered for educational purposes only, and not for the purpose of treating or diagnosing any physical or mental condition or illness, and that you take full responsibility to consult with your health care provider before, during or after the event.
- Photo/Recordings
You hereby grant the Ancestral Wisdom Bridge Foundation/East Coast Village, its officers, employees, agents, and any other people officially connected with the Ancestral Wisdom Bridge Foundation, to use your likeness in a photograph/recording for purposes of publicizing our programs or for any other lawful purpose, including website entries, without payment or any other consideration.
You grant the Ancestral Wisdom Bridge Foundation/East Coast Village publishing rights to works created during this event, including, but not limited to, audio and electronic recordings and transcripts. In addition, you waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy. Additionally, you waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of your photograph or recorded works.
You may request NOT to have your photograph taken prior to the start of the event.
