THE TRAINING YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR IS HERE.
RITUAL ARTS FACILITATION
You don't need another collection of rituals to perform. You need an understanding of what makes rituals work.
Live online class begins January 25, 2027
Learn to Create Ritual That Moves.
What happens when you stop asking what ritual is, and begin asking what ritual is asking of you?
Ritual Arts Facilitation Training is an invitation to deepen what you already know, develop what is emerging within you, and enter a more intentional relationship with the art of ritual. A two-part hybrid training - online and on land - beginning with Foundations and advancing to Certification.
Ritual Arts Facilitation brings together ritual knowledge, elemental relationship, embodied practice, ritual design, sacred space, and facilitation in a way that supports both personal practice and the ability to hold meaningful experiences for others. The Foundations Level is open to anyone seeking to deepen their relationship with elemental ritual practice. You do not need to consider yourself a professional ritual practitioner. You do need to arrive with some foundational experience and a willingness to learn through both study and practice.
The training is inspired by the Dagara tradition as brought to the West through the work of Malidoma Somé, while also recognizing that some ritual practices within the training are universal and not dependent upon a particular lineage.
What Awaits You Inside This Training.

"
The focus here is not on ritual itself, but on opening up something in hearts and spirits that has been locked away so long that individuals can barely remember the source.
Malidoma Patrice Somé // Ritual: Power, Healing and Community
At the Foundations Level, you will move from being a participant or observer of rituals, to understanding the core architecture, energetic relationships, and intelligence behind them. This is not about memorizing a collection of rituals. It is about learning how to understand ritual deeply enough to create and facilitate it with intention, integrity, and awareness.
Online sessions allows us to build the knowledge, vocabulary, practices, and understanding that will prepare you for the in-person experience. Sessions will combine teaching, discussion, reflection, personal practice, and assignments that allow you to bring the work into your own environment. Most importantly, you will begin developing your own ritual voice and style.

Our hybrid format is crafted to give you the best of both worlds, allowing you to build a deep, sustainable practice from home while offering a profound physical gathering to seal your work.

summer Intensive :
RITUAL HEALING VILLAGE
As part of the Foundations, students are invited to participate in the 9-day Ritual Healing Village, an immersive encampment centered on radical elemental rituals of Fire, Water, Earth, Mineral, and Nature.
Already experienced the elemental rituals? You may enroll as a certification candidate at a lower rate (room & board). In this role, you will move beyond participation into observation, study, and hands-on learning; exploring the structure, preparation, facilitation, and deeper workings of each elemental ritual while learning alongside those who hold and lead the work.
New to the Dagara-inspired elemental rituals? You will be accepted as a participant. Your first experience is intentionally centered on receiving, participating, witnessing, and building relationship with the rituals rather than learning to facilitate them. The opportunity to study the rituals from the facilitator's perspective comes later in the Certification pathway, where students return to this body of work with the experience and foundation needed to begin learning how these rituals are designed, held, and facilitated.
The Work Begins When the Formula Ends.
Rather than approaching ritual as a collection of prescribed formulas, memorized scripts, or practices to be replicated, you will learn to recognize the deeper intelligence and technology of ritual; how intention, relationship with spirit, symbolism, the elements, timing and cycles come together to create meaningful practice. This allows you to develop rituals that emerge from your own inner wisdom rather than simply repeating what someone else has created.
In a field where unproven outcomes and inflated claims can easily be presented as fact, it is important to understand what ritual can and cannot promise. Oftentimes, people who are dissatisfied with a practitioner may never make a complaint; they may simply move on to the next one, hoping for better results. For those who intend to work with others, this makes discernment, skill, and integrity essential. Understanding the technology of ritual gives you a foundation for creating thoughtful, intentional practice and for paying attention to what actually works.
Throughout the training, you will deepen your relationship with ancestors, the living elements, nature, community, and your own inner knowing while developing greater discernment about when a moment is asking for ritual attention. The work moves beyond theory and into lived experience, giving you opportunities to practice, listen, create, witness, and discover how ritual can transform.
You will learn within a supportive community, beginning online and eventually gathering in physical space where the work can be embodied, witnessed, and shared in relationship with others.

What Happens after foundations?
Foundations is the first stage of the Ritual Arts Facilitation training pathway, but completing Foundations does not obligate you to continue. After the summer 2027 intensive, participants who wish to deepen their skills are invited to continue into the advanced training toward Ritual Arts Practitioner Certification.
The advanced training moves beyond foundational personal practice into the responsibilities of working with others. It is designed for those who want to develop the knowledge, discernment, facilitation skills, ethical awareness, and practical experience necessary to serve as ritual arts practitioners.
Got Questions? Please read!
You should have some basic experience or familiarity with the Dagara tradition or have experience working with elemental ritual, divination, or a related spiritual practice. This is not intended as an introductory course to the Dagara tradition.
No. Foundations is a standalone training. Many participants enroll solely for personal growth, ancestral connection, and spiritual deepening. Certification is an optional continuation for those wishing to facilitate professionally.
Foundations is open to everyone who has basic experience with the Dagara tradition, has been offering elemental rituals, or works with divination. If you have a sincere desire to learn and respect sacred practices, you are welcome.
The calls will be recorded and posted in the classroom file folder for later viewing. Even if you miss a session, you will still gain valuable insight from the recordings! Plus stay connected in the chatroom.
Because the in-person intensive is an integral part of Foundations, participants should plan to attend, especially if they wish to advance to certification. While it's not required to take the online class, the ritual experience cannot be duplicated online. Details regarding dates, cost and attendance requirements will be be posted on our calendar.
For full participation, registered participants will need to equip themselves with materials needed for class which will be sent to you after registration.
Kindly join our mailing list for future announcements and check the calendar of events.
